You'll still have to walk a few hundred metres to enter the masjid itself but it's a few minutes and you'll feel like you're there when you're dropped off.
The mosque complex is huge and when you consider that it was built in the late 600s CE its lager than Masjid Haram and Masjid Nabawi, both of which size are from more recent times.
